Our History:
A solely student-run theatre company in New Mexico, Encore! Theatre is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of young actors. Founded in 2010 by Joshua Rupely, Caleb Cionelo, Gideon Cionelo, Carl Feaster, and Deven Gentry, Encore! Theatre has grown from a handful of members to a large company of talented actors, designers, artists, and leaders. Since its inception, Encore! Theatre has produced several plays including The Importance of Being Earnest, The Hiding Place, Cheaper By The Dozen, and Taming of the Shrew.
Our Mission:
Encore! Theatre is committed to producing and presenting works of the highest standards. Our mission is to create an environment where budding actors can develop their skills; to educate students in the process, science, and art of stage drama; and to promote student leadership within the world of fine arts and the community.
Our Associates:
Over the years, Encore! Theatre has collaborated with many community organizations and businesses, including: Frank Frost Photography, New Mexico Lightworks Photography, Freedom Community Theatre, New Mexico Young Actors, Demand Printing Solutions, and Benjamin Snyder Web Design.
